In my quest to watch more Asian horror/gore films I went for Tokyo Gore Police as I’ve wanted to see it for ages. I’d heard it was obviously extremely gory and very odd in places, so why wouldn’t I give it a go?

Zoombies (2016) Review
Pretty cool cover right? Well that’s just about all that’s good about this film it’s the worst film I’ve seen since I started this blog, but you should read on if only to check out the rating it gets!
Stephen King’s IT (1990) Review
I realise that most likely everyone has see IT but when I started this blog the aim was to write about every horror film I watch. I hadn’t seen this for a fair few years so decided to rewatch it, my memory is poor so although I could remember the important things a lot of it was quite fresh.
Ash Vs Evil Dead Season One Review
I finally got round to watching Ash Vs Evil Dead, I had seen the first two episodes when it first aired but enjoyed them so much I decided to wait until I could binge watch it. After finishing off The Strain as well as a few other non horror things it was time to start watching Ash kill some Deadites.
The Strain Season 2 Review
After greatly enjoying season one I obviously had to watch season two, as such this meant it’d be silly of me not to write up a quick review on my thoughts. I did wonder if it would be as good viewing as the first season was so here’s my thoughts.
The Entity aka La Entidad(2015) Review
After checking a list of the films that were shown at last years FrightFest, me and Mrs AcidBurn decided to give this one a go based on the synopsis. We didn’t know that it was Spanish or that it was a found footage film, as I’ve said before I have a soft spot for monster movies and for found footage films. (Edit-Also turns out this film is Peruvian not Spanish!)
Malevolents – Comic Review
I was really hoping to get asked to review a comic/graphic novel when I started my blog so was happy when I got asked to do this one. Unfortunately it took me a while getting round to reading it but now that I have here’s my review of Malevolents!
Ju-On The Grudge Review
After starting this blog I decided to try and get some foreign films watched, although I haven’t reviewed them I absolutely loved Switchblade Romance and High Lane (also known as High Tension and Vertige) After seeing lots of tweets about Asian horrors I decided to start with Ju-On The Grudge, I’ve never seen the American remake so can watch it without having that influencing me at all.
Stung (2015) Review
I must admit as well as a slight fetish for found footage movies (even though they usually disappoint) I also love a creature feature, any mutated animal killing people, weresheep anything like that and I’m on it. I was browsing horror films and came across this one, the cover looks good (don’t they all!) so I thought I’d give it a go.
“Some of the CGI was pretty bad, that’s not to say there wasn’t any good effects as the practical ones were mostly decent.”
Scythe – Lets Make This Happen
The kick starter slasher film the genre has been crying out for is so close to happening and there’s some cool perks for those that would like to pledge.
