I saw this was on Film 4 on Saturday night and it looked pretty bonkers, I also saw it was directed by Takashi Miike who I’ve heard through Twitter several hundred times makes some really brilliant films. This is the first one of his I’d watched and I will be watching and reviewing more. To top if off it also stars that mad little bastard from The Raid!

Joy Ride 3: Road Kill (2014) Review
Joy Ride 2: Dead Ahead (2008) Review
The horror genre probably produces the most sequels with some matching the original and some being so unbelievably terrible you wonder why you bothered. However like most horror fans I can’t resist watching, once I’ve seen the first one I need to see the other one, two, three, four or five. After enjoying the first Joy Ride I thought I’ll take a look at the second one.
Joy Ride (2001) Review
I always fancied watching this but for a long time the second and third films were on Netflix but not the first one. I was flicking through what to watch and review on the site trying to pick something fun and came across the first film. Then I noticed it was written by JJ Abrams so it had to get watched.
Wolf Creek 2 (2013) Review
I really enjoyed the first Wolf Creek film (you can read my review by HERE) for some reason it’s taken me a while to get round to watching the sequel, I’m not sure why as I love Mick Taylor as a killer and have heard good things about this film. Although some people say it’s a bit too cheesy and jokey.
The Autopsy of Jane Doe (2016) Review
I’ve seen a few people talk about this film and it’s got some really positive reviews behind it, including Stephen King tweeting about it being a good film. So what better to do on a Sunday afternoon than lay down on the sofa and watch someone dissecting a corpse. Also directed by Andre Ovredal who directed the excellent Troll Hunter was the factor that made me give this a go.
Beyond The Gates (2016) Review
I didn’t manage to go to Frightfest this year which I was gutted about as the line up looked pretty great and some of the UK premiere’s were awesome. I decided to take a look at what was shown there and try to pick out something good to watch, this one stuck out given it’s claims to be a nod to the 80’s and featuring a board game it sounded good.
House IV (1992) Review
It was time to finish off my House marathon and get the last film watched, so I settled down on a lazy Sunday afternoon on the sofa and got it watched. I was surprised to see a returning character from the first film and it made the fact that the 3rd was considered a House film even weirder. Never mind though here’s what I thought of the last House movie…………
House III aka The Horror Show (1989) Review
The third part of the House franchise and for some reason as soon as I watched it I started to predict bits that would happen, now I’ve either developed my own X-Men type mutant power or I’ve seen this a long time ago and completely forgot about it. Once again this film is no relation to the first two House films and in America was known as The Horror Show, I have been told it’s similar to Wes Craven’s Shocker film which I’ll hopefully watch and review in next few weeks.
House II – The Second Story (1987) Review
Cool French poster
As promised after watching and reviewing the first House film here’s my review of the second one. I wasn’t sure if I’d watched this one when I was younger and after watching it I’m pretty sure I didn’t even though I had seen the first and the third, very odd! Well on Saturday I’ll post a review of the third film which seems to be tied with the first for the most liked of the House films based on Twitter interaction. For now though here’s my thoughts on the second House…….
