One of the big advantages of running a horror site is you get offered things to review, indie movies, books and finally my favourite comics. Obviously with the horror element most of these comics fall into the category of blood and guts which we all know is NOT a bad thing. The Void (2016) Review

I’d seen/watched a couple of reviews for this film, one saying it didn’t deserve the quotes on the poster and how it was a terrible movie. The second review I saw claimed it was one of the best horror films they’d seen in a while. So two very different opinions, I love it when that happens as it makes me want to watch it to see who I side with. Combine that with a lot of credit for the practical effects and I was excited to get this film watched.

Split (2016) Review

As with most people M Night Shyamalan has had a very hit and miss career churning out some highly praised films in Sixth Sense and Unbreakable along with some that get totally slated. He loves a good old twisty ending and some people consider his attempts at that twisty ending to be predictable and therefore kind of ruining the film. Personally I loved Devil but I think he only had a small hand in the story of that. Anyway I’d fancied this since I first heard it was coming out as I’m a fan of James McAvoy, so here’s my thoughts.

The Sand (2015) Review

I sat down last night and didn’t have anything to watch there was the usual reality job shows on TV like Can’t Pay We’ll Take It Away and Police Interceptors. Along with the usual repeats of QI, Mock The Week and other comedy panel shows on Dave. I flicked to the horror channel and saw “The Sand” was on, I remember reading about it ages ago it sounded like a fun B movie with a silly but decent idea. The beach was eating people! So why not sit down and give it a watch.
