Seeing that this film was written by James Gunn I was excited about it for ages and now finally had the chance to watch it. Some very good films have been made in the fight/kill to survive genre but it is a bit of a worn out concept now. Surely the man who brought us Guardians of the Galaxy and Slither could come up with some unique idea though right?
I really enjoyed the first Wolf Creek film (you can read my review by HERE) for some reason it’s taken me a while to get round to watching the sequel, I’m not sure why as I love Mick Taylor as a killer and have heard good things about this film. Although some people say it’s a bit too cheesy and jokey.
Carrying on the Monster Movie Month theme today’s review is Rogue, I had somehow never seen this and someone recommended it on Twitter. I looked it up and thought yeah why not? Looks decent enough. Makes sense to watch a giant killer crocodile after watching a big shark eat people.
I don’t know why but I hadn’t seen this film despite me having a big interest in anything that is supposedly based on real life. When I was thinking of what to watch I decided to rectify that and give it a go, I was not disappointed that I did and only wish I’d done it years ago. Continue reading
