I missed this one at the cinemas because as usual any places local to me had it showing at silly times during the week, sometimes it’s as if they want horror movies to fail in the cinemas. I always like a creepy demon doll story and this one answered the question I wanted to know after watching Annabelle, where did this bloody doll come from?

Inside No 9 Series One Review
After seeing Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton on a breakfast show talking about the third series of their show Inside No 9 I decided to give it a go. I’d never really heard of it until I saw them talking about it on TV, it’s an anthology series which to be honest I’m not usually a fan of but because these two write and direct it I had to give it a watch. I’m a massive fan of League of Gentlemen and I think Steve Pemberton is a cracking actor who is often underrated due to starring in things like Benidorm.
House IV (1992) Review
It was time to finish off my House marathon and get the last film watched, so I settled down on a lazy Sunday afternoon on the sofa and got it watched. I was surprised to see a returning character from the first film and it made the fact that the 3rd was considered a House film even weirder. Never mind though here’s what I thought of the last House movie…………
House (1986) Review
I’ve been wanting to watch the House franchise of films for quite a while now and finally this Christmas I got the box set of 1-4 on DVD. I had vague memories of these films but wasn’t sure which ones I could remember, turns out I didn’t remember a thing about the first two but the third one I kind of knew what was going to happen. I figure I might as well take the time to review all four of the films, as it turns out the first three really aren’t related to each other in any way at all. They’re not even set in the same house or anything, anyway here’s my review of the first House movie!
Paranormal Activity (2007) Review
As I’ve mentioned, I enjoy a found footage film but for some unknown reason I’ve never seen possibly the most famous one of the last decade or so. A few of my mates had said it wasn’t that good and I’d just not taken an interest in seeing it until recently. I guess this means I’ll have to watch all the sequels this has spawned as well at some point!
The Blair Witch Project (1999) Review
When I started this blog I told myself that I would review every horror film I watch from now on and so far I’ve done this. Sometimes this means writing a review of a film I assume nearly every horror fan has seen. So just think of these types of “reviews” as more of a nostalgia trip, a look back to horror films of the past! So here’s my review/look back of The Blair Witch Project.
Conjuring 2 (2016) Review
I don’t get the chance to watch many horror films at the cinema due to the showings of them round these parts drying up really quickly. With Conjuring 2 being set in the UK and looking pretty damn awesome I watched the first film the other week in preparation for a trip out to see this one and I wasn’t disappointed.
The Conjuring (2013) Review
It’s not often I get the chance to go to the cinema and watch a horror film I actually like the look of, so with The Conjuring 2 coming out I thought I’d give the first one a try in preparation for watching the second next weekend. I’ve never seen this film and I’m of the opinion that haunting/ghost/exorcism films are either really good or really bad.
Malevolents – Comic Review
I was really hoping to get asked to review a comic/graphic novel when I started my blog so was happy when I got asked to do this one. Unfortunately it took me a while getting round to reading it but now that I have here’s my review of Malevolents!
Sker House Book Review
I mentioned in my last review how lucky I am to get the chance to review some indie films, feature films and short films for free. I’ve also had some offers to review books, now I’m a slow reader so it takes me a while but here’s my first ever book review. Once again go easy on me, I’m sure they’ll improve the more I do! This one is Sker House by C.M. Saunders who you can find on Twitter @CMSaunders01
