I decided to ask the good people of Twitter to vote for two films from every year I’ve aimlessly been wandering the planet. I set up two polls and I’d watch and review the winner of each from 1981 hopefully right through until the current day. I was hoping to fill the polls with either classic films, ones I’d never seen or ones I’d not watched for a long time. So far the picks were great you can read 1981 winners An American Werewolf In London and The Beyond by clicking their links! But any way now it was time to watch the first winner Poltergeist…………….

Paranormal Activity (2007) Review
As I’ve mentioned, I enjoy a found footage film but for some unknown reason I’ve never seen possibly the most famous one of the last decade or so. A few of my mates had said it wasn’t that good and I’d just not taken an interest in seeing it until recently. I guess this means I’ll have to watch all the sequels this has spawned as well at some point!
The Enfield Haunting (2015) Review
Before I went to see The Conjuring 2 (which I reviewed HERE!) I decided to watch the UK mini series that’s based on the same haunting in Enfield. It was interesting to see two different takes on what supposedly happened in that small house to the Hodgson family. After watching both I couldn’t help comparing them but for now here’s my thoughts on The Enfield Haunting mini series.
Conjuring 2 (2016) Review
I don’t get the chance to watch many horror films at the cinema due to the showings of them round these parts drying up really quickly. With Conjuring 2 being set in the UK and looking pretty damn awesome I watched the first film the other week in preparation for a trip out to see this one and I wasn’t disappointed.
The Conjuring (2013) Review
It’s not often I get the chance to go to the cinema and watch a horror film I actually like the look of, so with The Conjuring 2 coming out I thought I’d give the first one a try in preparation for watching the second next weekend. I’ve never seen this film and I’m of the opinion that haunting/ghost/exorcism films are either really good or really bad.
Ju-On The Grudge Review
After starting this blog I decided to try and get some foreign films watched, although I haven’t reviewed them I absolutely loved Switchblade Romance and High Lane (also known as High Tension and Vertige) After seeing lots of tweets about Asian horrors I decided to start with Ju-On The Grudge, I’ve never seen the American remake so can watch it without having that influencing me at all.
Sker House Book Review
I mentioned in my last review how lucky I am to get the chance to review some indie films, feature films and short films for free. I’ve also had some offers to review books, now I’m a slow reader so it takes me a while but here’s my first ever book review. Once again go easy on me, I’m sure they’ll improve the more I do! This one is Sker House by C.M. Saunders who you can find on Twitter @CMSaunders01
