Leatherface (2017) Review

Leatherface and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre rightfully take their place among the slasher movies that started the genre. These films are also probably right up there with the most famous horror films of all time. The last film before this one was pretty damn good, so I had no hesitation in watching this one as well. Obviously by the name you can guess it tells the origin story of Leatherface, how did he become the beast that we all love chainsawing people in the face.

Curse of Chucky(2013) Review

After hearing news that there’s going to be another Chucky film and then seeing the trailer for Cult of Chucky I decided it was time to watch the only Child’s Play film I’d not seen. My missus is a big fan of Chucky so we settled down to watch the crazy little bastard hopefully kill some people and drop some one liners whilst doing so.

Joy Ride 2: Dead Ahead (2008) Review

The horror genre probably produces the most sequels with some matching the original and some being so unbelievably terrible you wonder why you bothered. However like most horror fans I can’t resist watching, once I’ve seen the first one I need to see the other one, two, three, four or five. After enjoying the first Joy Ride I thought I’ll take a look at the second one.

Silent Night (2012) Review

My quest to watch some Christmas horror continues, I just Googled best Christmas Horrors and this one came up as a modern one that was worth a watch. I found a copy and thought why not? I mean a killer Santa is the staple of all Christmas horror isn’t it? This one has a really good cast and was better than I expected, it’s kind of a remake in that the maker acquired the name Silent Night, Deadly Night but it doesn’t stick the same plot and is only loosely based on it, so here’s my thoughts on Silent Night.
