I thought I’d write a quick piece about one of the most anticipated TV episodes of all time, as the title says I’ll talk about what happens in the first episode of season 7 and obviously there will be SPOILERS. So if you’ve not seen it and don’t want it spoiled why the hell did you click the title!
We’ve waited months and months for this, so did it live up to expectations or not?…………..
I stumbled upon The Host on DVD in the world cinema section of CEX second hand entertainment shop, well I didn’t the missus did. It was 50p so I thought it was worth a buy as I hadn’t seen it but knew it was good. I’ve always wanted to watch more foreign horror films and given that I love a monster movie it was a must buy and watch.
I read about a new Stephen King film based on one of his books called Cell, I’d never read or even heard of the book but thought the film sounded pretty good. I’m always up for watching something that might offer a new take on the zombie/virus/mutant crazies genre of films. So here’s my thoughts…….
Once again I was browsing what to watch and I’d seen this one a few times but never pressed play. After a quick read of what it was about, I thought why not give it a go. The concept sounded unique and I love a film that’s mostly set in one place.
One of the surprising benefits of this blog has been that I’ve got to review some films I wouldn’t have ever watched. In amongst them is the odd chance to review an independent film, even if I give these films a low-ish rating I still admire the hell out of the people that get these films made. I was asked if I’d like to watch and review zombie film Meltdown, it’s taken me a while but here’s my thoughts…..
I was really hoping to get asked to review a comic/graphic novel when I started my blog so was happy when I got asked to do this one. Unfortunately it took me a while getting round to reading it but now that I have here’s my review of Malevolents!
I watched this when it first came out and quite enjoyed it, so now I write a horror blog I thought I might as well refresh my memory, watch it again and write a review for the film. It also features a handful of people from The Walking Dead and I wanted to see them in something else.

When asking for comedy horror recommendations on Twitter I got loads of people mentioning two films Cooties, which I watched the other day and Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse. Being as I watched one recommendation and enjoyed it why wouldn’t I listen to my Twitter horror followers and put this one on.

I hadn’t seen any comedy horror for quite a while and after being recommended this film over the last few months I thought I’d give it a watch. Given that New Zealand and Australia are so good at horror films, especially ones with comedic elements surely this would be a good watch?
