I got a chance to review the second volume of the story of Razor Bastard, a pervy, psychotic, murdering antihero. He’s back and bolder than ever spilling as much blood as ever and wise cracking even more. There’s a bit of mystery and a lot more to this story than the first one which you can read my review of by clicking Here!

“Razor Bastard” A Comic Review
One of the big advantages of running a horror site is you get offered things to review, indie movies, books and finally my favourite comics. Obviously with the horror element most of these comics fall into the category of blood and guts which we all know is NOT a bad thing. I was offered the chance to read the first issue of “Razor Bastard” by Paul Johnson, you can find him on Twitter @PJDEMONCOMIX
REC 4: Apocalypse
I’ve been waiting what seems like ages to watch this film, I got it for Christmas so now was the time to settle down and see how the REC series plays out. I’ve reviewed the others on this site REC Review, REC 2(2009) Review and REC 3 – Genesis (2012) Review. This is supposed to be the last REC film from what I’ve read although I think there’s still some legs in it yet. Anyway here’s my thoughts on REC 4…….
Deep Blue Sea (1999) Review
The mid 90’s to early 2000’s seemed to bring forth quite a few giant monster attack films, sharks, sea beasts, snakes, crocodiles, spiders lots of either giant real animals or made up big monsters wanted to attack people. Whilst Deep Rising had slipped my mind until someone mentioned it on Twitter, Deep Blue Sea I knew about and being as I reviewed Jaws, The Shallows and even Sharknado it seemed right to re-watch and review this one for my Monster Movie Month.
Monster Movie Month
After a night of drinking I sat down today and thought what could I watch as I went about a lazy Sunday. Decided on the classic Jaws because this is obviously a superb film and it got me thinking about how much I enjoy a monster movie. So I’m dedicating this month to watching and reviewing some classic and some not so great monster movies.
The Host (2006) Review
I stumbled upon The Host on DVD in the world cinema section of CEX second hand entertainment shop, well I didn’t the missus did. It was 50p so I thought it was worth a buy as I hadn’t seen it but knew it was good. I’ve always wanted to watch more foreign horror films and given that I love a monster movie it was a must buy and watch.
Cell (2016) Review
I read about a new Stephen King film based on one of his books called Cell, I’d never read or even heard of the book but thought the film sounded pretty good. I’m always up for watching something that might offer a new take on the zombie/virus/mutant crazies genre of films. So here’s my thoughts…….
Green Room (2015) Review
I’ve been wanting to see this for a while now the concept sounded quite appealing to me and as a Star Trek nerd the idea of Captain Picard as a Nazi was intriguing. I had a few people on Twitter telling me it was a good intense film. Also given the recent tragic death of Anton Yelchin I figured I needed to see it. So I settled down to watch it and then review it for you good folk.
Paranormal Activity (2007) Review
As I’ve mentioned, I enjoy a found footage film but for some unknown reason I’ve never seen possibly the most famous one of the last decade or so. A few of my mates had said it wasn’t that good and I’d just not taken an interest in seeing it until recently. I guess this means I’ll have to watch all the sequels this has spawned as well at some point!
Conjuring 2 (2016) Review
I don’t get the chance to watch many horror films at the cinema due to the showings of them round these parts drying up really quickly. With Conjuring 2 being set in the UK and looking pretty damn awesome I watched the first film the other week in preparation for a trip out to see this one and I wasn’t disappointed.
